How to Open IIS

We can open IIS in 3 Ways.

  • By searching IIS by clicking on Windows button
  • Using a run command “inetmgr
  • Or through Administrative Tools





To open IIS (Internet Information Services), you can follow these steps:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or click on the Windows icon in the taskbar to open the Start menu.
2. Type "IIS" in the search bar. As you type, you should see "Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager" appear in the search results.
3. Click on "Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager" in the search results. This will launch the IIS Manager.

Alternatively, you can also open IIS using the Control Panel:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or click on the Windows icon in the taskbar to open the Start menu.
2. Type "Control Panel" in the search bar and click on the "Control Panel" app in the search results to open the Control Panel.
3. In the Control Panel, change the view to "Large icons" or "Small icons" if it's currently set to categories or other views.
4. Look for and click on the "Administrative Tools" option.
5. In the Administrative Tools window, you should see "Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager." Double-click on it to launch IIS.

Once the IIS Manager is open, you'll have access to the various configuration options and management features for your IIS server.
